The wind with its characteristics mirrors the history of our company. It has a strong will, crosses borders and sometimes changes direction. These features characterize us too:

In 2010 the WP Group was founded with the establishment of WP Offshore in Eemshaven, Netherlands. As a provider of maritime logistics, WP Offshore supplied offshore wind farms across borders with personnel and materials. Two years later, IRM-Service was added and WP Energy GmbH was founded in Bremen. The constant search for employees in the young wind industry led to the foundation of WP Service Solutions GmbH in Bremen in 2013. As a personnel service provider, it is today a well-known link between operators and specialists in the wind industry. One year later, the high demand for employees and the good contacts outside Germany led to the foundation of the personnel service provider SIA Baltic DIA in Riga, Latvia.

Unfortunately, certificates are not like the wind, and cross-border work is made more difficult by the country-specific requirements for employees. In 2015, the WP Group therefore participated in the establishment of the International Qualification & Training Center in Riga, Latvia. Today, the IQTC is an independent training center certified by TÜV Rheinland Akademie. IQTC is also a training provider certified by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) and the International Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA International).

In 2019 we formed our cooperation with RENOLIT - an expert around plastic films since over 70 years. After successful research and testing, a high-performance film with CX certificate for the wind energy industry was developed and is now marketed in cooperation with us: the anti-corrosion film RENOLIT CP. This set the corner stone for our future innovations - while always aiming to provide the best products and services to our customers.
