HVDC-platforms

In the German North Sea and Baltic Sea, offshore wind farms are constructed beyond the line of sight from the coast. As a result, electricity must be transmitted over long distances. To minimize transmission losses, converter platforms are established where alternating current is converted into direct current.

Our Expertise
